Employment Opportunities

We believe that the Mark Twain Academies will be challenging, exciting, and most of all rewarding. The staff will make the decisions at the school-all of the decisions. We hope some individuals who feel constrained in the public school system will consider joining us to create a place where being there is pleasure, not work.

There will be many opportunities for teachers, tutors, instructional aides, and clerical staff. It is the intention of the school to provide School Founders with opportunities to create the academies within which they will work and to actually gain assistance in preparing for these positions with the aide of grant funding. Founders are individuals who are willing to attend one meeting a month and serve on at least one committee to help the Mark Twain Academies become a reality. Founders will be given hiring preference when the school opens.
